Prismatic glass plate made in a casting mould. The half-annealed glass piece was turned over from the mould info an auxiliary mould where it gained the desired convex shape. Tauno Wirkkala's concept was that a prismatic glass plate would reflect not only its own colours but also those of its immediate surroundings and a plate of different colour placed beneath it.
