How Myrna then born?
"I'm being asked to make a solemn a cup of coffee. Times were when harsh and festive atmosphere needed in the mood to raise. We design Myrna rural and small-town home. I thought their interiors rural modest homes of old belongings. There was Myrna bring the sense of occasion: The board is applied to a clean cloth, will be covered nicely, the door is opened and party guests will be invited in. "
This told Olga Osol themselves later in the 1980s, when asked Myrna background.

He continues:
The theme is a German decal. I got photos of the food colors and I found a cup of coffee an attractive warm color tone. picture was printed, then pre-glazed dishes on top and gold borders were painted by hand. Gold-plating brought in my opinion the right festive feeling. At first only the cups dish. I thought that the buyers will be enough money to better as a whole coffee equipment. But right Coffee equipment was considered a better solution for the factory, and so I planned, then the cream and sugar bowl, pie dish, and even coffee cups. "

Myrna was christened the American film star Myrna Loyn that. Olga Osol wanted a cup at that time the name of a popular actress of Aino localize and Gretel, instead. Osol Myrna had finding elegant as a person and wanted to transfer his name to an elegant coffee service.

Myrna coffee service was in production until 06.30.2005. Technological development is somewhat over the years changed the Myrnaa. For example, before the hand-turned legs turning the current machine and ornamental stone is pressed instead of the weight of the silk-screen printing. In this transformation, Osol moved to ornament the contours of darker colors and emphasized anyway. Myrna is currently made of porcelain shade instead of vitro porcelain and the ground color is brownish instead of white. The cup has been changed to replace a larger image.
