Great art glass platter.

Design, Tauno Wirkkala, Humppila glass. Year, 1970s.

Height 5.5 cm, diameter 32.5 cm, weight 2.029 kg.

Prismatic glass plate is made in a mold. Partly cooled glass was repealed assistance mold, where it has received the desired convexity. Tauno Wirkkala's idea was that the prismatic glass plate reflects its own color to the surroundings, and the glass plate below the set in any other color plate colors.
