In realizing dreams, one cannot - and must not - save oneself, believed silversmith Bertel Gardberg. This uncompromising craftsman also believed that the hands themselves have the ability to think and create something new from different materials. No machine has that skill. The unique handicraft is also reflected in the Finnish design classic Lion, created in 1958, which was put back into production in 2010 in honor of Hackman's 220th anniversary.
