Designer - Olli Vasa

Olli Vasa (Born 1942 in Laihia) graduated as a ceramist 1963, in the institute of Industrial Arts. He has worked in Arabia in the years 1965 - 1967, and was a visiting artist in 1990 century. Vasa has designed fajans products for arts department and for large-scale production.

His form's are architectural simplicity, mainly balls and cube combinations and variations. In his works he rarely uses decorations, a lot of graphic black and white glaze, and gives the shape to speak for the viewer. His design works are example. Snaps glass series and unique candlesticks.
