Designer - Karl Heinz Schultz-Köln
Karl-Heinz Schultz-Köln (b. 1921 in Cologne, Germany) studied at the Köln art school, and Nüremberg Academy of Fine Arts. In Arabia he began to work as an assistant to Birger Kaipiainen from 1950, until 1654, he then got his own studio art department, where he worked until 1960.
Schultz-Köln produced unique wall tiles, where 1950's constructivism painting is taken to ceramic material. Surface of his work has been built with ex. Sand, mass and using glazes. Schultz-Köln also planned flipped vases and electrical porcelain. He currently lives in Sweden.
