Designer - Hilkka Säynäjärvi
After graduating to ceramic artist from the Central School of Art and Design Hilkka Säynäjärvi (b. 1917) worked in Arabian Art Department as an artist 1945 - 1952. In the Art Department she designed and wheel-turned, and designed bowls and small vases, which were made from the factorys high fuel masses, she used stoneware glazing.
In addition, she made romantic-themed relieft and co-designed with Ritva Kaukoranta and Raija Tuumi the tourist production, where young designer's, were free to glaze little items that were made at the factory. Later Säynäjärvi Hilkka has worked as a freelancer as a ceramic artist and illustrator.
