Designer - Brita (Maj-Britt) Heilimo

BRITA HEILIMO (born 1928 in Jakobstad) studied at current Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture for five years completing porcelain painting skills in Ceramics Department after which she started working for Arabia Department of Industrial Art in 1952 and continued working until 1959 after a couple of gap years.

With chamote and earthenware vases, wall tiles and decorative items designed during her short career were in Arabia's exhibiton in the 1950's i.a. in Gothenburg, Helsingborg and in motherland.
